Jacksonville’s future takes shape in everyday places: a neighborhood street, a family business, a park, or a call for help. The decisions made at City Hall reach into those places. We believe leadership should begin with the people who live with the consequences.
Bold Leadership is a political committee focused on Jacksonville. We support policies and leaders who take stewardship seriously: protecting neighborhoods, caring for public assets, respecting taxpayer dollars, and making room for people to work and build a future here.
That standard should be clear enough for anyone to use. Leaders should explain what they are trying to accomplish, what it will cost, who is responsible, and how residents will know whether it worked. When something falls short, they should say so and explain what comes next.
We believe good ideas deserve a fair hearing, regardless of who proposes them. Cooperation requires honest discussion and independent judgment. We should ask the same questions of people we agree with as we do of people we disagree with.
